ELECTRICAL TESTING AND INSPECTION (EICR)

An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report)—sometimes referred to as an electrical safety test—provides a detailed assessment of the condition of an electrical installation.

The inspection identifies any damage, deterioration, defects, or non-compliance with current electrical regulations where applicable. Findings are recorded and issued as a formal PDF report.

Where an installation is found to be unsatisfactory, we also provide a clear, simplified covering letter, explaining the issues identified and outlining any recommended remedial works in plain language.

The duration of an EICR typically depends on the size and complexity of the property, but most inspections take between 2–4 hours to complete.

During testing, there may be short periods of power interruption, which will be kept to a minimum and discussed in advance
